But if you aren't seeing it there, or if you have lots of computers to upgrade and only want to download the new OS once, there are other options. ![]() The easiest way to get Windows 11 is by checking Windows Update on a supported, fully up-to-date Windows 10 PC. ![]() Should I go through with an unsupported install anyway?.What are the risks of running Windows 11 on an unsupported PC?.Installing on a PC without a 64-bit CPU.Manually installing on a PC without Secure Boot or a TPM.The easy way to skirt the Secure Boot, TPM, and Microsoft account requirements: Use Rufus.Installing on a PC with Secure Boot and any kind of TPM.What does my PC need to be “supported”?.I tried to set things up so she never really uses anything other than the Chrome browser anyway. I was a bit concerned that the visual difference of the desktop and Start menu of Windows 11 would be a problem for her but doesn't seem to be. I also changed the mouse pointer to be as big as a house with a pink interior so she could find it on the screen. I've scaled the display which makes almost everything bigger and not just Chrome the way she was using the older Windows 10 mini-PC. Mostly it just sat on a shelf for a couple of years after I bought it on sale as a whim. I think the N5105 mini-PC came with Windows 10 and I upgraded to Windows 11.
